Where is the best place to look for jobs these days? Is there anywhere that can beat Indeed.com? It seems to have the best layout and least spam from my personal experience.
I really don’t like applying for a job and then finding out it’s actually through an agency. Can’t think of any part of the whole job hunt experience worse than being bombarded with calls from agencies who have shared your details and are asking you about random jobs you never applied for.
I’m not a fan of job hopping, but sometimes it pays to move around from what I’ve seen. What do you think?
The reason for the post today is just that feeling of going nowhere. Sometimes you get into a job, you’re doing well, but the only thing you can see on the horizon is the same job, same pay, same everything, forever. That’s not a nice feeling to have. I like to have the feeling that I’ll be able to progress, or that I’m making progress in something. A feeling that ‘in 3 years, or in 5 years I could be the…’ But I’m not getting that now. So that’s why I’m having a look for something new.
These are my thoughts for today.
I’m looking at jobs on Indeed. Nowhere else at the moment. 2024 is off to a rough start 😅
