I can now fully appreciate why people play noisy music on public transport.

Today I took the tram to work. It should have been a standard trip, once every now and then we need to show our faces at the office which is fair enough.

But today was something else.

It was the most depressing trip I’ve ever taken! 8:00 is a busy time for any public transport around the world, and Nottingham is no different. But there is definitely a difference to the mood in this city.

The looks on people’s faces as they were going to work or school today was absolutely horrible. Not sure if it’s like this every day, or if it’s to do with today apparently being the most depressing day of the year? 🤔

Whatever it was. It was markedly uncomfortable.
