I can’t believe how good Netflix is compared to regular TV.

How does regular TV even compete in this day and age? When I say regular TV I’m talking the ones that go by channel numbers, whether it’s cable TV or terrestrial TV, just those ones with channel numbers. How are they surviving the streaming age??

I don’t remember the last time I watched something decent on regular TV. But Netflix and any of the streaming giants just seem to be constantly churning out epic series after epic series. The movies are excellent as well!

While we’re at it – how are cinemas coping?? I’ll leave the cinema alone for today since there isn’t anything quite like the atmosphere of a cinema with my extra large popcorn and Coke. I digress.

I remember when it was so cool to have a cable TV package with 1000 channels or something. Most of the time I’d watch the same 5 or 6 channels out of the 1000 so there was never a point to it anyway. Now, I scoff when I see ads for cable TV packages.

I was late to the party with Netflix, after watching shows through ‘other means’ if you know what I mean, I decided it was time to register and officially have an account. No regrets. The best monthly subscription I have! I don’t dare even look at what Disney and Amazon have to offer because I’m sure it’s just as good! I don’t want to end up with £100 of monthly TV subscriptions. I do know some people with ALL the streaming subscriptions. Crazy.

So, anyone got any ideas how regular TV is still around? Are you watching it?
