As someone who needs to go to the office tomorrow for my mandatory bi-weekly appearance. I want to ask you, do you prefer working from home or working in the office?

I’m in two minds about the idea.

On the one hand, it makes so much sense to do certain office jobs from home as the office serves no benefit now that we have high speed internet and most things are online instead of in filing cabinets.

But on the other hand, working from home is very isolated. Sure, you can hop on a zoom call or WhatsApp your colleagues, but there is just something that’s not quite the same as fade to face interaction. Business, work, is all about interactions. The connections you make with people whether they’re colleagues, managers or just your inspiration, you can’t quite get that from working at home.

So, after all this, I’m not actually sure which I prefer.

I think I definitely get more done at home though surprisingly. But in terms of morale, it’s not so great long term.
