Can’t believe we’re here already. It’s 3 days in and I’m only just getting round to my weekly update on this blog. I need to let you know all my plans for 2026!
First of all, health comes first. One of my resolutions is probably up there with the most common in the world – ‘exercise every day’. Specifically, I need to do 30 minutes of exercise for every day of the year. So if I miss out on a day, I can make up for it another day, but also still have to do the exercise for that day too.
So far, so good, I’m one day behind but feeling great!
Day 1

My new running route is 6.5k. It’s meant to help me improve my 5k time. I think it’s great. My ultimate goal for 2026 is to run 5k in 22 mins.
Day 2


It was tiring, but I need it! 26 mins on the bike but the rest of the time was made up from other exercise.
The other resolution I made was to post to this blog at least once a week for the year. So this is checking that box! Last year I posted 18 times scattered through the year. I’m sure I can beat that this time right?
I also need to upload to my YouTube at least once a week. So far I’m trying out YouTube shorts, I’ve done a couple so that checks off the box for this week, but I’ll still try and upload as much as possible this year.
When I’m in the zone and uploading regularly it also makes me take more photos add videos in general even if they’re not uploaded.
My next resolution is to read more books. Specifically one per month. That’s the target, I know it might seem low to some of you but for someone who will read a novel worth of website articles but zero pages of a book, this is a challenge.
I bought these three books to start me off.

We shall see how far I get and I’ll update if I’m on track to finish one per month or not.
I have some others as well, including one which is coming up very soon. But I can’t mention it yet or it may not happen. Once it either happens or not, I’ll let you know. It’s one I’ve been waiting for for a very long time so fingers crossed 🤞 it actually does work out.
