Wishing you all a happy new year!

2023 was what I would describe as a train-wreck of a year. Nothing seemed to go right. There were so many challenges to overcome and a feeling of complete desperation. But here we are now, another chance, 2024 has just GOT to be better.

What are your plans for 2024?

I want to earn more money this year (probably one of everyone’s resolutions right?).

I’m once again planning on being more social this year, so hopefully you’ll see and hear more from me this year.

Ok so here are some of my plans for the year. Anything that makes no sense about I’ll have to explain in separate posts so don’t worry, it’ll eventually make sense.

I want to get back in shape, who doesn’t eh?

I want to travel more in 2024, I barely travelled anywhere in 2023.

I want to earn more money this year! Not just in line with inflation, I mean 50% more or 100% more!

I want to blog more this year. I’ve completely failed at this since getting this domain years ago.

I want to cook more. Right now, Hillary does all of the cooking, which is nice, but it would be good to share some of the burden and learn something new.

I want to help develop Oscar and Casey’s hobbies. In particular Oscar, since he’s already 5 years old. I’d like him to do more outdoor things whether sports or exploring in general. Of course I’d go with what he wants to do, but it would be nice to see him doing something he loves other than just studying, which he actually does LOVE!

I’d like to get an electric car. It’s about time. I’ve been a huge Tesla fan from afar, but I think this is the year I should finally make the switch and go electric. As much as I’d love a Tesla, I can’t guarantee that unless the above wish of earning lots more, comes true.

I want to get myself on the property ladder. Yes, since coming back to the UK I’ve been living with my parents. But it’s getting a little crowded. The 4 of us plus my mum and dad..

I feel like this could be an ongoing list. Come back for future updates. I’ll probably stop updating this by the end of January.
