Do you believe in fate/destiny?

Yes I believe somehow the universe has a plan for you in the least religious way possible. Just like forces equal and opposite. There is some element of what I like to think of the elastic band effect.

What I mean is, the plan is like the elastic band just sat there on the table. What will happen will happen. The plan is fulfilled.

But once you become aware of where you’re headed you need to do something about it. So you need to stretch the elastic band, or work at escaping whatever is in the universe’s plan. The moment you stop trying, you snap back into place. But if you keep on trying to forge your own path, without stopping, you’ll be successful at it.

But there’s always that feeling of it being tiring, because you’re fighting whatever was planned for you. Just gotta keep going though.

This is why you tend to die the same way you entered the world. You come in rich, you might just die rich without trying. You come in poor, you’re more than likely gonna end up poor and so on. Unless you’re fighting the universe’s plan.

So do I believe in fate/destiny? I guess I do. But I don’t accept sitting there and doing nothing about it.
